Hi everyone,
I hope you're all getting excited for the Annual Nordic Kayaks Beach to Beach event coming up on Saturday, June 8th! It's always incredible to witness the paddling community unite for such an exhilarating event. Your participation is not only valued but vital in ensuring the day runs smoothly and successfully. Plus, your involvement contributes to keeping our club fees affordable and supports our fundraising efforts.
Just a friendly reminder: If you have a boat and are willing to assist, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're more than happy to help with fuel costs, etc.
Here's what we need and who's in charge of each area:
- **Boat Crew:** We've got 8 positions filled (Greg Co-ordinator).
- **Beach Setup Crew:** 3 spots are still available (Dave O co-ordinator).
- **Ski Collection from Waters Edge:** We require 6 volunteers (Grubsy Co-ordinator).
- **Timers:** 2 volunteers are needed (Buck Co-ordinator).
- **Race Tag Collection:** 1 volunteer is needed (Buck Co-ordinator).
- **Race Shirt Tent:** We're in need of 2 volunteers, and we're also looking for someone to coordinate this area (please step up if you're interested!).
- **General Hands:** We need 2 helpers to assist wherever necessary.
Setup will kick off promptly at 7:00 am, with the first paddler expected around 11:40 am. We'll start packing up after 12:00 pm.
